The art studio curriculum follows a Teaching Artistic Behavior (TAB) model. The educational theme of the Art Studio changes monthly. The Art Studio Coordinator will also develop and implement free programing on Saturdays and occasionally special programing for family events at the museum. The Art Studio Coordinator also collaborates with partners to advance art programming at the Museum.

This part-time position will not exceed 20 hours per week. The Art Studio Coordinator must be available for free programming on Saturdays. Occasionally, family events may be in the evenings. Schedule is flexible during the week.

Since 1994 the Children’s Discovery Museum has been inspiring a love of learning through the power of play. The Museum is a three-story, 34,000 square foot LEED certified building with numerous hands-on, interactive exhibit galleries. The mission of the Children’s Discovery Museum is to nurture the whole-child by encouraging critical thinking, engaging creative expression, and stimulating curiosity through interactive play.
